Been awhile, but I did not forget about it. Good news and somewhat bad news. I have the complete census' from 1571 and 1582. However, it is written in Siyakat a kind of short hand for Ottoman Turkish with arabic script. I had one guy (wish he had more time) look at it, he was able to decipher some names, but he is far too busy to undertake a whole the whole project. it is nowhere near impossible, but very time consuming. If anyone here thinks it is worth finding someone or a team to put it together we can pool our resources. If not, I'll hold on to them and when I'm done with my personal research I can seek freelancers out.
