We had Constantinopole Patriarch who was in Croatia last year and obviously it was Serbs and other orthodox Christians he came to visit. I agree ecumenism between two Churches is not supported by common people at all.

He should be spending that time dealing with another revelation of priest sexual abuse and the church hiearchy's willingness to cover it up.

The moment the choice is made to put the flock in danger by moving sexual predators (who most likely became priests just because of the access and trust it would give them among their targets) around to avoid the church being embarrassed and losing face instead of informing the police of what they discovered about some of their members is the moment the institution no longer deserves anyone's loyalty.
