It depends on what you consider "white", a completely subjective term. Many Latin Americans have significant European admixture, often more than 50%. It varies greatly depending on the country, but I think a place like Argentina would be very European, albeit Southern European.

You couldn't say it any better all of us are significantly European admixed to be considered amerindian or black people.

Hell, I don't know and my hang up doesn't concern the miscegenation that went on in many of these countries during their colonial period, especially knowing that Uruguay and Argentina have made more strides to emulate Europe than we in the states have but, they kind of have their own little hemisphere going on away from the rest. I'd also say the same about the Anglosphere to a great extent, we're pretty insular, Britain's empire was largely naval and Americans can relate to say; Australians in spite of the great distance between them, we merely have been more influential and have gotten the Western World to address us in our tongue.
