So, basically, Anctarctica is a neutral zone, doesn't belong to any country, has no government and no law. There is only an agreement between several countries, that German expeditions are governed by German law, American expeditions are governed by American law, etc.
But then, let's say a pirate appears. He doesn't have any connection to any of the members of the treaty. So, basically, he is lawless. No country has power over him.
So, basically, he starts destroying things and killing people. But, since he didn't come from a member country of the treaty, no law has power over him, so he's not doing anything illegal. And he is still a human. Which means, nobody is allowed to kill him, lock down, deport or anything. So, the only way to deal with him, is to kill or handicap him in an act of self-defense?
And even better thing. Let's say the pirate just illegally enters Anctarctica, steals something, and returns with it to his country, which is not a part of the treaty. So, then, in his country, how are the stolen goods treated? He brought the goods from abroad, and didn't commit any crime while obtaining them, so it's his own property. But then, what about customs? The item originates from abroad, but is not governed by any import laws. So, does it mean it is strictly prohibited to import it? Or, more like he brought it from a duty-free zone and doesn't have to pay customs?
