I don't like the phrasing "support". Because people who are indifferent to it want it legal. And people who are strongly against it personally may want it legal because they don't care what other people do in their love life.

Marriages should be between man and woman but some people are born with genetic abnormalities that make them gay. (gay is not something that is contagious but is a PROVEN genetic difference) I have too many gay friends and they always get really emotional about this stuff and I understand how much it means to them so I said yes. But I don't think they should be allowed to adopt children unless the parents say it is ok, or an older child says it's ok, for them to do so. Also I don't want this talked about in the media at all and marketing it and pissing people off so I want it to be legal and done with and no more controversy. If people don't want to recognize marriage between man and woman then they don't have to on a personal level.

The sacred bond between man and woman will not be tarnished one bit by making gay marriage legal. I think once more of society understands that gay is genetic and not due to culture, people will have more confidence in society allowing it because it is harmless to straight people. (it's just really weird and gross but definitely not contagious)

Because tolerating and accepting such travesties only cement the way for a liberal, yes-to-all society.

Slippery slope arguments have never worked.

No, it's really not. It's a silly argument.

I dont see it that way: some things are better left as taboo for the sake of the colectivity.
