As for Turkey. I think it is best described as balkan, or muslim-southern balkan. I see no difference to muslim albanians, or pomaks etc. there is also a large number of balkan turks native to the balkans.

No, mena women have white skin, but often they do not look fully european, and have dark hair. It is rather their features not their skin. They are not brown.

Again this is simply not true because you can’t generalise MENA as one looking group go to Saudi Libya Oman Yemen instead of Syria and Lebanon and you’ll see a difference in skin colour

If Anatolians aren't European then neither is a good chunk of the Balkans IMO. This is from a cultural perspective. "Balkan" is a direct product of the Turkish language and the influence in this region of Europe is immense.
And by North American standards, I'd say more than half of Turkey could easily pass as white. Mediterranean phenotypes are considered white in USA.
