Turks are Central Asians mixed with Kurds, Arabs and Pakis and Turkey is geographically located in Asia. So they aren't European and Turkey isn't European country.

I am not going to speak culturally, but genetically the modern population groups of Turkey resemble little to most Arabs, as they share roughly 5-8% percentage of the Natufian Neolithic component with the Gulf Arabs and none of the SSA-admixture of N. African Arabs.
Using the G25 averages for Turkey, we have the following breakdown:

As you can see on the chart, modern Turks are really just a native EEF Anatolian population for the most part, but with an extra shift towards Siberia_Neo and Iran_Neo, which makes sense from their historical evolution and perspective. The only exception seems to be the Trabzon Turks who (together with Hemshin_Armenians, Georgian Laz and Pontic Greeks (not shown here)) resemble an almost 'pure' Kura-Araxes-like population group.
*Note: Yoruba is not a neolithic component but modern and is used to pinpoint SSA admixture.*

Anatolian Turks are pure Central Asians; their DNA is closer to Turkmens than to any European or Middle Easterner/West Asian. Do not look into plotting maps since they're not reliable, we're talking here about autosomal overlap and sharing. This has been confirmed several times by many studies. The closest people to ancient Anatolians are Cypriots and Greek islanders NOT "Anatolian" Turks.

No, Anadolid phenotype is extinct, ancient Anatolians had it but modern Anatolians are just Turks from Central Asia. Main phenotype of modern Anatolians is Turanid (99%). You probably haven't visited Turkey in your life Jesus, just stop.
