My subclade peaks in the Netherlands at 1.8 for North Western Europe and then peaks in Latvia at 3.1!

Frequency is based on enormous sample size of 18 . R1a Project has now 12 more samples with no increase in L664.

Single L664 guy is tested with Big Y and YP285* (https://yfull.com/tree/R-YP285/). He also has relatively common Latvian surname, so one can't say whether this guy is an long-ago assimilated German or a Norse settler (neighbouring clade YP5599 is so far fully Swedish).

I doubt that real L664 frequency among Latvians is higher than 0,5%.
