I think the UK because I was kicked out for terrible hate speech from UK students room just for saying that homosexuals can be called to abstinence humility and penance just like monks and they don't need to identify as homosexual and be proud of it I explained it from the Bible but on us message board I say all that and never get censored

Afaik, many of those "left" are routinely used to achive the far right goal - absolute dictatorship worldwide. Like these so called "antifa" trying to spoil the protest of the people against lockdowns.

    Do what you should.

No I think the US is surpassing them now. Which is crazy. Of course it depends where you go, red states like Florida and Texas etc are still okay.

Britain, for it's own historical reasons in the 20th century, is "of the left" in the sense that government seems to permeate everyday life there. Coincidentally, there is a general apathy about God in 20th century Britain, which does not flow against this national establishment of socialism.

LOL at those who talk about the US being so left-wing. This is the same country where:

    - Millions live without health insurance.
    - The death penalty is still practiced in some states.
    - More people are incarcerated than anywhere else both in relative and real terms.
    - Parental leave and holiday pay are by far the least generous in the industrialised world.
    - University education is by far the most expensive in the industrialised world.
    - Around half the population own guns.
    - The government spends more on the military than the next twenty or so countries COMBINED (including China).

All this stuff about BLM, man-hating feminism and genderfluidity is, to a quite considerable extent, a massive red herring.

Well, it isn't fascist or a monarchy (that one ended up on 1776, remember?) so under the classical definition of Right, they aren't. The problem here is that the American definition of what is Right is just another validation of Liberalism with an unhealthy dose of corporatism.

Fascism is authoritarian, but that can be either a rightist or leftist trait. Like we have discussed before, on economic issues even Iberian Falangism - let alone Peronism, Italian Fascism or indeed German National Socialism - is considerably to the Left of the Anglo-American Right (at least since 1979, at any rate). Anyway, I wouldn't call the American Right 'liberal' even in the classical sense - it is plutocracy dressed up with an often pseudo free-market ideology.

Actually I disagree, friend, the things you regard as "red herrings" are, in fact, more serious and important than some of those so-called "conservative" things you listed.

For example, I think the problem posed by things like BLM and gender "fluidity" are far more serious than, say, providing health care for everyone. In fact providing good, subsidised health care for everyone is essential in any civilized society. I think my priorities are different from yours here.

Well I think so too, but the point is that, uniquely in the developed world, the US doesn't guarantee it.
