Kangaroo genocide in Australia

The kangaroo culling in 2008-2009 alone killed approximately 6000 kangaroos, they trap the kangaroos with the aid of fences, slowly closing in on them, scaring them with noises to lure them into the killing zones. The kangaroos are tranquilized with a dart gun and then injected with the deadly chemical, in one killing pen about 500 were killed with only 5 managing to escape by leaping over or crawling under fences.

They are regarded as pests by many farmers and some think there is an overpopulation of kangaroos.

There is a over population of Kangaroos, but i don't support the idea of setting up weird animal concentration camps like that. The first time i'm hearing of this method. I know that you can get a license to kill Kangaroos with a gun on your property though.

I was playing golf the other day, and as i was looking for my golf ball amongst the trees (bad at golf

) i came across a kangaroo and joey in it's mothers pouch. They just stared at me as i was like 5 metres away. How could you kill those beautiful things.
