Default Sceptical about the Mensa Norway test

I have always been sceptical about this one. I am poor at non-verbal tests. I average about 72 on other tests I've done. As with other such tests I did a lot of guessing as I'm basically clueless as to the answer.

It's nearly 30 above the average for other tests I've done.

Just as a test I pressed 1 ,3 and 5 and then 2,4 and 6 in rotation making no attempt to work out the answers.

That still gave me a score 20 points above my average for other tests .

I scored 128/96.9 percentile. I got 124 on the last test I did. I don't think they measure anything more than your puzzle solving skills.
    Spoiler!

Because it is normally distributed, most people are at a similar intelligence level. I now cringe whenever I hear people discuss and compare their IQ scores for this reason. Unless you are comparing someone with a 150+ IQ(one in 2000) with someone with a 60 IQ, you can't make a significant assessment on a persons ability or natural potential by looking solely at their intelligence. Chances are highly likely that there is nothing exceptional about an overwhelmingly high amount of what society would deem 'intelligent people' myself included.
