Default 82% to 67%, Putin's approval rate DROPS. Cause for concern?

RT CrossTalk host Peter Lavelle and The Duran’s Alex Christoforou take a quick look at a latest survey conducted by the Russian based Levada-Center, which shows a sharp drop off in the Russian President's approval rating. Much of the drop can be attributed to the domestically controversial pension reforms that Vladimir Putin has decided to undertake, costing him lots of political capital. Will the neocons and Russophobes leverage this drop off, or will Putin's approval rating bounce back up to its previous, stable highs?
That's still better than the 20%/30% approval rating of your average Western government...

Wake up and smell the coffee.

People just started watching TV less, some read independent sources on the Internet, and the rest believe their own eyes and wallet.

Political crisis arrived sooner than everyone expected. First hit Putin had taken when he kept old liberal government in charge instead of replacing it after elections. Most likely he did it because there is simply no other experienced team presented with alternative approach to economy. There are experienced and capable individuals but they are not unified in any sort of coherent team capable of running the country. Only liberals have it. Another problem is if Putin will remove liberals from running economy it's highly likely to spark some sort of civil war. Backed by their Western counterparts they are very well capable of organizing violence using standard scenario of "springs".

However post-election events on the world scene had prompted liberal political block of Russia to push too hard on population. Trump systematically dismantling world order run by bankers for last 40 years. As consequence Western liberals traditionally serving the said bankers losing their positions of power thus liberals of Russia losing their vital political support. They see it coming and they realize if they will be left on their own against political block of Russian enforcers they stand no chance. That's why liberals trying very hard to take enforcers down as much as possible while they still have power to fight.

Still Putin serving as mediator between power blocks have to accept liberal control of economic sphere in the country. For now that is. He had no choice but to accept proposals liberals pushing forward. But developments going in the way that very soon many crooks will be taken accountable for what they did for last 20 years. There still vital decisions to be made on what future Russia will be, what socio-economic formation will it take. Anyway the days of liberals are coming to an end and they know it. Putin giving them a chance to reconcile and taking hit for that.
