Wake up and smell the coffee.

I've done a bit before. I've never modified a whole place and don't believe its right to do so but have introduced native tree saplings and seeds to some areas which I thought "needed a hand".
Its only natural to want to improve your neighbourhood. Mine is quite nicely wooded but other areas of it are more open when areas alongside streams and on the dog-walking fields could be a bit more wooded so I'm thinking about popping in a few willow saplings. One of the key things is to do it slowly so that people don't notice, people would notice drastic changes.
I also found Welsh Poppy growing down a grubby old alleyway the other day, I might scatter some of its seed about, they're quite a distinctive yellow poppy native to Wales, the Welsh Marches, SW England and France.
