Default Do you believe in a “Divine Right?”

This may belong in a religious category but I think the belief has been cross-cultural throughout many civilizations and religious groups in history. It has been believed by both those revered as prophets and those viewed as lunatics. Do you believe there are leaders as fate intended, or that this has been a foolish human concept in all cases?

I personally believe yes, in a spiritual way that ties in with my strong faith in nature and survival of the fittest. We create our own fate and the strongest, healthiest, most intelligent, and closest to the concept of God are bound to reach higher positions and are born leaders. When there’s a will there’s a way and they are always ‘great,’ even if not agreeable against their enemies.

No, I don't think that there are predetermined leaders. I think the most people are shaped or modeled into leaders through life experiences, and being raised with a good moral compass as a child. I suppose that some things are determined in your genetics, but for the most part, no.

Survival of the fittest, you say? By that argument you can also condemn the corrupt religious aristocrats with no fit to rule whatsoever, if royalty was that strong it wouldn't fall around Europe in less than a century, beginning with Louis XVI of France.

Kill your faith and let the doubt eat your soul.

Krieger, tell me, do you believe that this life is all there is, and that you cease to exist when you die? The reason I ask is because that affects one's ultimate purpose, too. Because if you think you will only exist for, say, 90 years, your approach and understanding of "divine right" would also be limited in scope necessarily.

I can agree that it is a split between genetic makeup and personality predetermined by your blood but also your life experience.

I believe our souls live on forever in some form but only recently have I begun to think about these concepts more deeply because I was raised in a very anti-religious manner. I’m exploring the connections between biology and spirituality.

I assure you that I’m not speaking for any particular leaders or their eventual corruption. I’m just creating a discussion on if there are born leaders or not in some way, blessed or not.

The idea of a Divine Right of Kings is insane. Monarchs rule by the consent of parliament and their subjects.

Wake up and smell the coffee.

I think you should definetely read some books by Julius Evola Krieger, if you havent already. The idea of a caste system, being divided into natural leaders, natural warriors, citizens and slaves is an ancient concept, and it is a part of the cycle of civilization that the involution of the lower castes is what generates social decline and build the foundation for the final collapse and rebirth of the natural leadership through the cataclysmic struggle that Follows the collapse.
