Extinct eye/hair colors??

Did our ancestors have different eye colors that dont exist anymore. i heard there are very few people who have violet eyes. was it common in our ancestors? there are some people who also have red hair and also EYES. Experts say that the red hair gene will almost be wiped out within 200 years. I’m sure in like 1,000 years, people won’t even know redheads existed.

Yes everyone had yellow eyes, later purple and when taxes first time appeared everyones eyes turned from blue to dark brown depending on your money status.

Afterall for ancient greeks the colour of seawater was also purple and for some african tribes water is white.

I once read that in the Middle Ages they came to burn people with red eyes and yellow eyes because they believed they were witches or satanic representations.
