Do you understand your idiocy? Romanians and moldavians are orthodox because they was influenced very early by byzantines and south and east slavs. Romanians from Transylvania for centuries lived under catholic and protestant rule, and was discriminated because of their orthodox faith. Half of slavic world is catholic, so what you said is big big BULLSHIT.

There was no such thing as Catholic Church before 1054.The West forgets that Orthodoxy was the religion of the west for 1000 years.

Latin speaking people except Balkan one adopted Pope version of Christianity.

Romanians adopted Latin writing system in 19th century, why? They used Chyrillic until 19th century.

Slavic speakers are predominantly Orthodox. Russians are more numerous than all other Slavic nations together.

Nothing to do with language, for the same reason why balkanites and eastern euros are Orthodox, the Byzantines had a stronger influence.

No, not really,in Middle Ages most romanians couldn't even read, let alone write, cyrillic was only used to write documents, manuscripts, books.

Because of Romanian nationalist movement of the first half 19th century, who claimed that romanians are direct descendents of roman colonists in Dacia, not even dacians, but pure roman colonists. This was the times when was very popular Romanticism ideas, who influenced very much romanian nationalism movement. Today in Romania, nobody belive in this. Today Serbs use a latin alphabet too, still you are slavs and Orthodox.

It's not about quantity, but countries with predominantly catholic faith. All of Western Slavs are Catholics, part of south slavs too. They are not a tiny minority. Most hardcore today Catholics in Europe are slavs like Poles, who hate very much everything Orthodox.

It was from Latin and Greek speakers that Orthodoxy was spread to the Slavs, so to historically associate Orthodoxy with Slavdom is idiotic.
