Concern is mounting over the volume of plastics in our oceans and, in particular, how tiny particles of plastic and other synthetic materials are infiltrating every part of our ecosystem. Can technology help address the problem?

Nice invention! I think that making such things can influence the reducing of plastic pollution. But the rest depends on ourselves. We have to use as less plastic as possible if we want to save our environment. I've stopped using plastic bags and bottles a long time ago. I also avoid using plastic straws in restaurants. Even the bamboo toothbrush I use is organic (just think - a billion of plastic toothbrushes are thrown away each year!)
There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve: the fear of failure.
