As autoridades da cidade norte-americana de Los Angeles concluíram ontem a remoção de uma estátua do explorador Cristóvão Colombo, construída há 45 anos no Grand Park, como medida resultante de uma moção aprovada no ano passado que já substituiu o antigo "Dia da Descoberta" para "o Dia dos Povos Indígenas".
