I use it daily; I keep mine is a spray bottle and mix it with a drop dish soap and some lavender oil, just to help cut back on some of that strong vinegar smell.

If her bedding hasn't been washed in a century, it will be full of millions of dust mites living in her bedding... along with dust mite faeces. (Very bad for allergy sufferers and asthma sufferers.) Dust often makes people sneeze and makes their skin itchy.

Dust mites in bedding can only be killed by washing regularly at 60 degrees, or by placing gentle silk sheets into a large freezer bag for 48 hours and then placing it in the freezer - to freeze dustmites dead, which can then be washed on a lower temperature... and then dried naturally in the sunlight which kills dustmites.

The mattress, pillows, and duvet should also all have protective and removable coverings underneath the pillowcases and duvet cover, that can be placed in the washing machine, or wiped down with a damp cloth and allowed to dry naturally in the fresh air.

I have to open the windows when using white vinegar for cleaning... but at least vinegar isn't as bad as the smell of bleach and a lot of modern household cleaners (which contains toxic chemicals.) Vinegar is a miracle product for cleaning, along with baking soda.
