Is it true that malnutrition causes brachycephaly? Once I have heard that Russians were one dolicho but turned brachy because of malnutrition. However, nowadays they are again turning dolicho because of better nutrition conditions. What do you think about that?

I also think that it is odd. One of the regions of the World where malnutrition is very high is Northern Central Africa. However, they are usually more dolicho than the other ethnic or nations. Some may claim if they were not suffering from malnutrition, they would be more dolicho but it would sound very delusional.

The opposite..Sub-Saharan Africans are very dolico. Irish people were Brachy but the Great Famine produced Dolico types there. Most of the very poor Irish that went to urban areas in Britain - their descendants are mostly Dolico.
