"Czech Republic" or "Czechia" - which name do the Czechs prefer/which one is cooler?

Czechia sounds better to me, even though I am used to saying Czech Republic.

Czechia sounds ugly. I always say Czech Republic in full and abbreviate it to CzR. It somehow feels more inclusive to Moravians and Silesians. Česko (Czechia) and Čechy (Bohemia) sound so alike.

By the way, I do not think -istan is strctly related with Islam. Istan means city in Persian.

In English, there are so many country names which do not end with -istan although majority of them are Muslims. Such as, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Bosnia Herzegovina, Turkey, Albania, Morocco, Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia and etc.

There are lots of countries whose majority is Christian but their names in Turkish end with -istan. Such as:

Yunanistan = Greece
Macaristan = Hungary
Sırbistan = Serbia
Bulgaristan = Bulgaria
Gürcistan = Gerogia
Ermenistan = Armenia
Hırvatistan = Croatia
