In some cases it can be depending on how common your name is and if you share your location in any form along with it, but there is always a risk.

Depends on how generic your name is, if your name is something like Mohamed Ali or John Smith then go ahead, but if you have a unique surname I wouldn't advise it.

Mostly yes, but there isn't anything to gain from it. On Quora, most people use their full name and include their picture often yet I don't think anything happens to them for the most part. The dangers are exaggerated but there is still always a risk in doing so, especially if your name is less common and you post controversial or offensive stuff.
