We still feel close to Canada, not America though. Those links were rekindled, with the Allies & Nato. Only a love-in with Politicians.

Quite frankly, it doesn't matter what Johnny Foreigner like you thinks. England obviously has a lot in common with Australia and NZ, less so Canada and America and the rest of Europe recognizes it. It's an argument often used by continentals to attack Britain in fact, that it sits on the fence between the Anglosphere and Europe and doesn't integrate into the EU as much as the rest of western Europe.

Mate, I do not think we should knock someone who supports us or has a good opinion of us. The opinion was positive and trying to support us.
