Online poker is a very tight, aggressive game. People use sharkscope. People have all the stats memorized and could look up tables if they like. At low stakes they basically just farm top 20 hands with a few suited connecters thrown in for metagame purposes. At mid-stakes there's less upfront aggression and hence less occasion of getting outdrawn with top pair by, say AQ triple gunning despite not hitting anything on the flop or the turn. You can't play a psychological game online. And honestly, if you aren't a math based player, you don't really understand the psychology of poker in any meaningful sense anyway.
