If it wasn't for all this unfunny Yasukuni business, I would really love the Japanese. Anyway, I still like them a lot better than I like the Russians. The Japanese at least tried to make amends after the war and for the rest of the 350 years of knowing each other, we've been relatively good friends (or, at least, good business partners). Since MH17 my position on Russia is clear: fuck them and the horse they rode in on.

And where exactly Japan heading? Can it sustain itself with current demographic problems?
Meanwhile Russia was, is and will always be Russia. Exactly because it's not castrated like some others. I suspect it's all climate, no matter who you are and where you from - after a decade or so of living there you become Russian.

I like both, but I voted Russian. I am more interested in that country. Japan is more distant and obscure to me.
