Default Acrophobia (fear or phobia of heights): Do you have this?

Since my childood, I've a irrational fear of height. It got extreme levels, when I went to a feris wheel, and I panicked. The guy who was caring the feris wheel had to stop the feris wheel in the middle of the planned to time to remove me. Post your traumatic experiences too.

Yes, I feel terrified. Whenever I'm in a high place, I start to think I'm going to fall and it happens since i was a kid. But ironically I never had problems when traveling by airplane.

It does not make sense, because if you've fear of height, you will not try to bungee jumping.
