Brazil's north and northeast are poor regions, few people would waste money on a ancestry test and most are not interested anyway. That causes a sampling bias where the south and southeast, where people are more likely to waste money on trivial things, become overrepresented. Brazil's average shouldn't be higher than 70%.

But the same we could say for others Latam countries, the gap inside regions is not something exclusive of Brazil. But a World phenomenon.

How accurate are this studies? What I know for sure nation wide 80+% euro latinos are mostly rare without exception Argentina Cuba Uruguay and Brazil. I've seen many white latinos scored less then 80% even less than 70% genetically specially If there's no recent Spanish ancestor .

i think this gedmatch kits are very acurate. Results make a lot of sense.


The only problem is that the poorest latinos are not being tested. Maybe just when its adopted people. but it gives an idea.
