There wasn't "ancient Iceland", the Norse were the first to settle the island and that was during the middle ages.

With all the respect, that seems like an odd question. Why would Greeks be related to Iceland (Norwegians, if I am not mistaken, or Danes - I heard there is an Irish element there too)?
Greeks are Mediteranean/Balkan/Middle Eastern people. A tiny Nordic admixure might be there , but its insignificant. Iraqis are Semetic/Mesopotamean and even though Greeks are not exactly the same, we are closer to them than to the Icelanders.
