Default Is India a beautiful country?

I guess it depends on where. I watched a docu that air pollution is very high in Delhi, alarming and dangerous to the health and of Course there is the Ganges pollution and there are slums. But this woman who is from Norway and Roma moved to Punjab to a village and she wrote that it is a "beautiful village and clean and that the air is fresh and healthy". Who lives in India or lived there and can tell more about his experiences?

Except for few urban centers in north most places dont have much pollution. Most of Himalayan belt in India Pakistan Nepal is pristine & pretty good except for high volume international circuits. Western parts like Rajasthan Gujarat Maharashtra MP have good forts temples etc.. Southern parts Andhra TN Karnataka have big temples & hill stations etc.. Eastern parts have big forests

Agree I think that main problem with India is their over population and lack of sex education same with China.

I holidayed in India for the first time in 2014, the Ghats mountain range area was beautiful, that was in Kerala, it's super jungle-like there, green everywhere. If you like nature, it is worth visiting, the Himalayan regions in far North India is also nice I heard, I never went to the Indian Himalayas but I did go to the Nepalese side.

Aside from that, I also went around mainland North India, mainly to a few big cities and it wasn't so beautiful. The historic sites there are beautiful but the cities themselves, not so much, it was an experience. I will say, the hotels there were very nice though lol

India is actually one of few countries in the world I strictly avoid. I am pretty sure it has many pretty places as every country in the world, but dude... there are cons everywhere.

As far as I know the great urban centers in India like Delhi and Mumbai are awful, but the traditional communities and the countryside have very beautiful geography, architecture and culture, specially in the North.
