Is it okay for a man to wear a fanny pack?

Fanny packs really take me back to my 1980's childhood! I am thinking of getting another. Some times it people consider it a "purse" which is womanly. But men can wear them too? I think so. I can put my wallet and cellphone in there and all kinds of other stuff too. I believe they are making a come back.

Yeah, I frequently see joggers and cyclists in the UK wearing waist bags. (We call them as bum bags in the UK.)

If you called it as a 'fanny pack' in the UK, people will give you strange looks and think you're being vulgar and obscene - because a 'fanny' is a common slang-term in the UK meaning a vagina.

Nobody here ever calls them as 'fanny packs'.

Indeed they made a come back and are quite trendy nowadays at least in female fashion, but obviously for guys too since these is useful gear . There are plenty made for men or unisex, like the one you posted so go ahead if you want it, I dont see why not.

It was only ok to wear a fanny pack for a brief period from 1987-1990. I think many states outlawed men wearing fanny packs post-1990.
