So what exactly do these disgruntled Frenchies want? It seems like they've been rioting since the day they elected him.

İt smells like the job of British intelligentsia. Even 1968 events were organized by MI6 (and its child CIA) to teach the old fart De Gaulle a lesson, finally bringing him and his republic down. He was going too far to even dare to visit the USSR w/o consulting the Anglos, believing for independent France. He got his lesson when he saw the youth of his country bringing down their own country and burning Paris.
Continental Catholic Europeans dare to go too far with the Anglos over the Brexit issue, trying to play with the north Irish or Scotch things.
Who are you Frogs to even dare that or to try to teach them a lesson?
Ultimately, England always wins every conflict she enters. That's the rule for the last 250 years. Don't fuck with them.
Last year you tried... And Spain was almost losing Catalonia. Don't even try.
All the 'Democratic Europe of Liberties, image shattered when you saw Spanish police units storming vote centers and confiscating ballot boxes around.

This protest has nothing to do with MI6.... that's a conspiracy theory you're making.
The ruling elites of the UK actually want to remain in the EU and the UK Prime Minister is betraying the British people with her lousy Brexit deal. The politically-correct, the establishment, and the UK mainstream media (there's BBC editors and journalists who are secret MI5 and MI6 agents,) are on the side of their EU overlords.
It's mostly the ordinary folk and the working-class people who voted for Brexit.... something the ruling elite are against. The British establishment and their government controlled media has consistently put out endless fearmongering and propaganda against Brexit;- the British establishment doesn't support Brexit.
The French are renowned for protesting against things. I admire this about the French culture because they stand-up for themselves. It's not some staged protest against the French government;- the French people are genuinely angry.
The English and French have an Entente Cordiale agreement in place for over a century now. We celebrate this peace and cooperation agreement between our nations each year with large banquets hosted at Windsor Castle by the Queen and the French President. French and UK flags line the streets each year with French and British military troop parades to celebrate the Entente Cordiale and the friendship between our two nations.
Our nations are allies today and both the UK and France are powerful G7 nations. We're not enemies... the hundred years war between England and France was a long time ago! Times have changed;- this is the 21st century now.

French police deployed as 'Yellow Vest' protests hit Paris
Protesters angry about rising taxes clashed with French police for a third straight weekend and dozens were arrested after pockets of demonstrators built barricades in central Paris, lit fires and threw rocks at officers Saturday.
French Interior Minister Christophe Castaner tweeted that "1,500 troublemakers" were around the Champs-Elysées avenue, outside a perimeter secured by police, who said that 107 people were arrested.

The Latest: France’s Macron denounces violent Paris protest
8:10 p.m.
French President Emmanuel Macron is denouncing violent protesters who attacked police and vandalized a Paris monument, promising they will be "held responsible for their acts."
Macron said Saturday that the protests which have left dozens injured and at least 224 arrested "have nothing to do with the peaceful expression of a legitimate anger." He says "no causes justifies" attacks on police or pillaging stores and burning buildings.
Macron said he is holding an emergency government meeting Sunday on the protests. He spoke from the Group of 20 industrial nations summit being held in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Total says fuel stations running dry due to 'yellow vest' protests
PARIS - on Monday said several dozen of its gasoline stations had run dry as a more than two-week long protest over fuel tax hikes began to impact fuel reserves and distribution.
A Total spokesman said "yellow vest" protesters -- so-called because of the high-visibility jackets they wear and which must be carried in all vehicles in France -- were obstructing access to 11 fuel depots.
As a result of the unrest, some 75 fuel stations out of the company's 2,200-strong network across the country were empty because they could not receive supplies, the spokesman added.
Protesters have been blocking roads across France, impeding access to fuel depots, shopping malls and some airports. On Saturday, rioters transformed upscale Paris neighbourhoods into battle zones.
In the Morbihan area of Brittany in western France, authorities were considering restricting the volumes that motorists could buy to prevent more fuel stations running out of petrol and diesel, a local official said.

A demonstration on December 8th 2018 at Eliseo? The yellow jackets want to "search" Macron
After the clashes of November 24th, after the scenes of chaos and revolts of December 1st, what will happen on December 8th? While it is still too early to say, some instigators are already asking for the mobilization for the fourth consecutive Saturday. And this time, the call is very clear: the goal is called the Elysee.
On one of the main pages of Facebook – "Angry yellow vests" – an "Act 4" is announced for December 8 with the following description: "For all those who are motivated and if things do not move, Saturday, December 8 we will all go (Emmanuel Macron, ed) look for how he had asked. Must take. " The venue of the event, however, remains the Champs-Elysees.
The formulation is harmless, refers to a sentence by Emmanuel Macron pronounced in the margins of the Benalla case that he launched in front of his followers: "If they want a boss, it's in front of you! (…) Let them come and take me." I reply to the French people! "
And although data on network membership is a very dangerous indicator of the reality of participation in a movement, 16,000 Internet users have already announced their participation (knowing that the Paris events did not exceed half of this figure according to data from the Ministry of the Interior, the only ones available) and 95,000 people were "interested" in the middle of the afternoon.
A crisis meeting took place on Sunday 2 at midday at Eliseo to consider the continuation of the chaotic day of the day before. Note that during the last two rounds on Saturday, the Elysée (like the Matignon or the National Assembly) has been isolated from a "safe perimeter".
