What are the top things that you like and dislike about the culture in your country?

What I really love about the culture in Poland:

> People are honest
> People are kind and genuinely good-hearted (most of the time)
> People really care about what's going on in your life (I love it lol, I can see why some people would dislike it)

What I dislike about the culture in Poland:

> So much nihilism (like really? - you have a fantastic country and society and it's only going to get better why be nihilistic)
> Many people take things too personal
> Not willing to compromise / too assertive at times

What are the top aspects of the culture of your country that you like and do not like?

Sense of humor

Lack of ability to understand, or at least to respect different viewpoints

I am Serbian

What I love:

The fact that we are proud and mostly of similar religion, looks etc. That we defend our values and nation all the time.
The fact that we are still alive after everything we went through

What I hate:

The music omg it's so bad. Not all but the modern turbo folk and idk I don't like it ew no offence
The fact that we are stubborn and don't wanna compromise at times
The fact that meat is the main diet and contributes to many deaths and diabetes cuz it's like all fatty meat that we eat especially pork all the time

My dad's family is from Hungary and he has the same complaint. Maybe that wasn't as bad in the past if you were doing manual labor and farm work all day, but it's not the best diet for a lot of people nowadays who don't do that kind of thing.

My favorite aspects of the US culture;
1 - the fact that there's widespread appreciation for the freedom of speech and other civil liberties across the majority of the political spectrum
2 - the fact that there's hard work ethic ingrained in the very founding and culture of the country (post-puritan)
3 - successful melting pot and we're pretty chill about it (like most people do not brag about being of any particular nationalities, American identity is viewed as something more valuable - an upgrade)

Least favorite aspects of our culture;
1 - concentration of capital (and other resources, especially within boomer generation)
2 - trust fund babies
3 - elitism (less so in millennial and gen z generations)
