1.All Native Americans are Red-Skinned
A common expression: "That's a WHITE man! Not a Native". Most NA are not red skinned but a reddish white, and some have more yellowish skin. Even full blooded Cherokees can be blonde haired and have blue eyes! The difference between them and Europeans are the physical features, not the skin color. Some full blooded Indians could pass for Italians or Turkish regions. The Pueblo Indians are very dark red. While most of the Indians on the East Coast are very light skinned.
Here is an example of a full blooded Native. Actor Jay Silverheels. Could he not pass for some White countries:
A pop singer who is half Cherokee:
2.If you get NA on your DNA test it proves you're Native American (and if vice versa, it proves you aren't)
WRONG.
Most tribes do not consider DNA tests as permissible in acceptance to become a member of their tribe. You must have a documented family ancestor on your family tree to join. Some tribes have a limit as to how far back that ancestor could be. Others will consider you, even if it's 300 years or more. DNA tests are notoriously unreliable for testing Native Americans in North America. There is a very limited supply of them in the database. Most of these "Native Americans" are of South Or Central American origin and have little connection to North American tribes.
3.White people who dress in Indian regalia are practicing "cultural appropriation"
This is a common liberal retort. They aren't, any more than an Irishman who dresses up in Lederhosen. Give it a rest!
4.Friendly Indians were all slaughtered by white men
WRONG. The liberal lies we are taught in school is that Indians were just peacefully minding their own business, and then the white man showed up and put a hole in their teepee. Truth is, most Indian tribes were warring against each other, and white settlers were murdered by them. A good example is the white settlers who practiced the first Thanksgiving at Berkley Virginia in 1619. They gave a prayer of thanks to God almighty, and a few days later were savagely attacked and murdered by the Indians. This is why historians cover up the true First Thanksgiving. It was not about loving "peaceful" Indians trying to help the white man.
Hope this clears up some miconceptions!
