Go look at a picture of Paul Rudd at 30. He looked better then than he does now. When he 'peaked' he was just farther up than most people. It really isn't difficult. By the time one is 40, that person is on the downhill slide. It is fantasy for a 40-year-old to think they are going to look better in later years than they do now.

That's because he just didn't age very well. There isn't much difference between a 30 and 40 year old. 50 onward is when people start to show the real signs of ageing.

That's because he just didn't age very well. There isn't much difference between a 30 and 40 year old. 50 onward is when people start to show the real signs of ageing.

Paul Rudd was brought up as someone who looks good for 50.

That said, no one looks as good in their 40s and 50s as they did in their 20s and 30s. You can argue about the rate of decline all you want, but it is still decline. We can't stop our biological clocks from ticking. Better to accept the fact that aging is inevitable and go from there.
