I think people live life without thinking of the afterlife. We should all just strive to be good human beings so that we can go to a good afterlife.

Yes, but unfortunately even that is not good enough... Jesus has the keys of death and hell. We have to accept Jesus into our lives as our lord and saviour, then we will be saved from eternal hell, and go to heaven. It is very specific, there is no universalism.

I have since I am Christian. I cannot say about the rest though. I suppose that is why missionaries exist
