How is Christian ideology vague? It isn't vague at all.. and it's all contained in what we now know as the Bible.

Which roots would those be? The Florian roots of the Judaeo-Mythric syncretic Christianity? Or the Hellenist-Gnostic Christianity that was genocided by the former? Or perhaps maybe even the reformed Judaism that Jesus himself was advocating for before they co-opted his sayings into their own various different ideologies for political machinations? (For some reason I doubt that you were thinking of this last option.)
The roots of early Christianity. Of the apostles and other disciples of Jesus, after the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost. You can read about their doings in the Book of Acts, which is an extension of the Gospel of Luke.

You shouldn't pay too much attention to gnostics and other nonsense... it sounds like you are. You are just confusing yourself, and it's unnecessary. The enemy has sown the seeds of many weeds along the way, but with a bit of discernment they can be avoided and discounted.

It's not Christians who are more noteworthy, but Christ Jesus...
