Let me give you a nice similarity:
Barză - comes from Albanian white, which Bardh.
Barză - stork. Because is white.
Dh in Albanian is pronounced as Romanian z.
For English speakers Romanian Z and Albanian Dh are pronounced as the th from the.
    Another similarity:
Romanian cămașă (English shirt or more exactly chemise) - Albanian këmishë
ă from Romanian is similar to ë from Albanian and for English speakers, are pronounced as schwa from English.
sh from Albanian is similar to ș from Romanian and are pronounced as the sh from sharp.
So cămașă in Romanian and cămișă in Albanian .
Supposed to come both from Latin but somehow become almost identical - not plausible if you ask me.
Another weird cognate between Romanian, Albanian and Old French:
    Raven in Romanian - corb
    Raven in Albanian - corb
Raven in Old French - corb
All come from Latin corvus but somehow are identical. Not plausible again, if you ask me.
    Will give more words later.

Most cognates of Romanian and Albanian have Latin origin.
Some have Turkish/Persian origin, in particular those referring to Middle Eastern domestic products popular in the Balkans, like cearceaf, papuci etc.

    It's convergent evolution

    Example :

    Romanian - Sardinian

limbă - limba = language, tongue (in northern Sardinian)
    apa - abba = water
    (in northern Sardinian)
    cămașă - camisa, camisia, camija
corb - corbu (central Sardinian) - compare also the English "crow" with southern Sardinian "crobu or crou"

    cucuveaua - cuccumiáu = owlet
cal - caddu = horse - Both are the contraction of vulgar Latin "Caballus" -> Caballu -> Ca(ba)llu -> Cal / Caddu
    pisic
    ă - pisittu = cat (southern Sardinian)
    şoarece - sorighe = mouse
şemineu - tziminéa = fireplace - compare with the English "chimney"
    canapea - canapé = sofa

    etc.etc.
