Unfortunately the Irish are always portrayed as light haired and such but they're usually just pale (some aren't though) and the hair and eye colors vary. They do have the most redheads but far from the whole population. On humanphenotypes.net it says that Ireland has the Med type whereas Scandinavia doesn't so they are closer to Meds.

Ok, although that light is a bit dark. I think most of those guys have blue eyes.

At the genome level, they are much closer Scandinavians.

This sep up is closer to Iberians than to Scandos.
Even light haired ones look more Iberian than Scando (like light Iberians).
Pigmentation means nothing somethimes. Ramzan Kadyrov is light pigmented and still look Chechen and non-European.
