Irish people, are they closer to Scandinavian people or to mediterranean people?

As a reference, I have picked a football squad from Cork (all of them are seemingly natives or at least were born in Ireland). What do you think?

Unfortunately the Irish are always portrayed as light haired and such but they're usually just pale (some aren't though) and the hair and eye colors vary. They do have the most redheads but far from the whole population. On humanphenotypes.net it says that Ireland has the Med type whereas Scandinavia doesn't so they are closer to Meds.

Their faces don't look Scandinavian to me though. More so Central European. And I did say eye color and hair color varies lol

Pigmentation means nothing somethimes. Ramzan Kadyrov is light pigmented and still look Chechen and non-European.

There is a stereotype that Irish people are red haired. About 10% of Irish people are red hairded.

This guy is Irish living in Serbia, his color of hair is not so rare in Ireland.
