Baldurs Gate II: Shadows of Amn is my favourite RPG. I improved my English a lot playing this game.

Hanging out with my party through the Bridge District in Athkatla after some hard mission and listening to this song was a very unique feeling.

After comes Dragon Age Origins. About Japanese RPGs, i like Chrono Cross and Final Fantasy VII, but mainly for the story and soundtrack.

I don't believe any open world will be as good in my book as the Capital Wasteland. Exploring in New Vegas and F4 just doesn't give me the same feeling.

Have you tried "S.T.A.L.K.E.R." bro ?

Morrowind, Fallout 1,2, and some shooters with RPG elements like System Shock 2, Bioshock and STALKER: Call of Pripyat.

    What's your generation bro ???

Well, video games served well both the most individualistic of us (single-player) and the most internationalist (multi-player).

The times of secret nerd assemblies in grand-mother's basement, to play some obscure tabletop game, were revolutionized by the Internet.

Yeah, seems more like a personal choice on your part, and that's perfectly fine.

I would say that, considering purely the informative content of video-games, it was only worthy if you needed some visual art and actual play, in order to stimulate your intelligence. Otherwise, you might prefer sticking to the books

Nobody mentioned Diablo 2? Really? lol
Wasted a lot of time on it in the 2000s. Wouldn't recommend playing it now tho, heard that Battlenet is full of bots now.
