A thread about the Basques? My Basque friend will tell you anything you want to learn about the Basques. (He's taught me loads about the Basques.)

Jai Alai is their favourite sport. Also, he's taught me a lot about Vitoria-Gasteiz being the greenest city in Europe and he's shown me a lot of pictures of the Basque Country and he's taught me information about their language and people and foods, etc. Berets didn't originate in France... they originated in the Basque Country.

He taught me that the Basques are the oldest Europeans and that they are the origin of R1b and that they have the highest amount of rhesus negative blood in Europe and the world, etc. He's very knowledgeable on the Basques.

I've never said that about Cornish people or Northern Brits. Wtf?! I've said the opposite;- Cornish and Welsh people look no different to other British people as shown in my threads showing crowds of people from these places.

I can't tell where a person is from in the UK just by looking at their hair or eyes, but I can tell where they're from by their accent.

Eg;- Russell Brand is from Essex in south-east England, Cheryl Cole is a Geordie from the north-east of England, Lily Cole is from Devon in the south-west, Nicole Neal is from Bournemouth on the south coast, Kate Moss is from Croydon in the south-east, Lily Donaldson is from London in the south-east of England, Mary Hopkin is Welsh, etc.

Correct! Tell them like it is. Many ignorant people thinks Welshmen and Cornish people are some kind of Aliens in Britain.

Yes he was......i think that features are more important than pigmentation.....of course a Scandinavian or an Englishman will never get as dark as a North African but still darker than average....

A North African is not a White person. Why are you comparing very fair-skinned people such as the English and Scandinavians with them. Many English don't even tan naturally, they turn lobster-red! We have quite a few North African immigrants in my country.

Where did you get this data? Also only Northern France belong to NW Europe. You should exclude it.

This is why I advise you to always update yourself and do some flying research. It will help you a great deal, because you don't know anything! The most recent research on the eye color of the British people by the ScottishDNA project as well as the Blue Eyes project (2014) shows that the most common eye colour in Britain is blue and as much as 45% of Welsh have blue eyes alone and for Britain, 78% have blue and green eyes! At 45% blue-eyed Wales is not that different from Denmark at 50.7% for the same eye colour. Get that?

Even in the "Races of Europe" Coon makes the following declaration:

"If we consider that the Long Barrow type was in original form almost purely brown eyed, then it must be less important in the racial structure of Wales than the Keltic Iron Age Nordic, for in but a few districts are brown-eyed."

Therefore Carleton Stevens Coon already knew that as whole Welsh were blue or light-eyed (brown or dark eyes are less important) and belong to the Nordic race, with individuals variations.

This thread have asked which nation have most brown eyes in NW Europe.
From my knowledge, Britain,Ireland are without doubt in NW Europe.
Besides Britain and Ireland, Iceland could be also put in NW Europe.
Denmark is not in NW Europe,but in North Europe.

So the nations from NW Europe are:
English people
Welsh people
Scottish people
Irish people
Icelandic people
5 nations.

So from these 5 nations, most brown eyed seems to be the Welsh people.
Most blue eyed from NW Europe are Irish people. 2nd to that should be either Scottish either Icelander, 3rd either Scottish either Icelanders, 4th English and 5th Welsh people.
