Can you write and read Cyrillic by hand?

This is how I write Cyrillic (without thinking).



A tad rusty, but it's cursive. It's easier to write that way in Cyrillic than in print letters IMO.

Yes, because I used to have Russian in school since 4th grade. But in most of Polish schools you learn German or Spanish as second foreign language.

Think all Slav peoples have to use their Cyrillic

I can read Cyrillic that's typed on the computer without much difficulty but the script in the picture that you posted looks completely undecipherable to me. I could probably write it since I can read it, but I never really attempted to write it by hand.

i can write and read cyrillic because i have to for school but not in cursive yet. in latin and in cyrillic my handwriting is bad anyways...

You live in the US and you have to know Cyrillic for school? Are you taking Russian at university or something?

Yes I can, I've taught myself a few years back, it was very useful when I searched for moldovan metrical records in FS, everything is handwritten. I can't however speak any language, just basic Russian.
