    Israel, Tunisia.

Turkey is a Eurasian country, not Middle Eastern. Therefore I will not vote for Turkey.

Lol at going to Istanbul and saying "I have been to the Middle East". Constantine is rolling in his grave.

We agree on that but I guess OP meant West Asia and not really the strict term of «Middle East»
Egypt is North African but often associated with Middle East which makes sense in my opinion.
Tunisia Is 100% North African mate and not Middle Eastern at all ! I can confirm you that Tunisia is a nice country though, I liked Tunis

I like Tunisia because it appears to be the most secular Arab country. The influence of Sharia law is minimum, as opposed to other Arab countries. They recently adopted the equal inheritance law which is great.

I would like to see the city Sousse.

Not really. Lebanon is the most secular Arab country, very open minded, different religious communities... Tunisians are still conservatives although they definitely come right after Lebanon (especially the recent laws they applied) but there is still a lot of work to be done. UAE is also very Westernized but there is a lot of hypocrisy (Dubai is basically a huge "whorehouse" & Shariah is applicated only to people who don't have money/power) and Emiratis in general are conservatives.
Lebanon & UAE (especially the emirate of Dubai, others are more conservatives) are the most open Arab countries in my opinion, then come Tunisia!

UAE is like Hong Kong, most people living there are not even locals.

Beirut was called Paris of the East before the civil war, right?
