It's dominated by pred. European Mestizos and Tri-racials and is whiter than the rest of Central America. But, it's not too Euro genetically in the 75% -100% range. Still, there's plenty of whites there, though far from the majority.

    Something is wrong here.
In Paraguay definitely light skin tones are much more numerous than in Mexico, but according to those numbers, the whites are very even in the comparison of both countries.

I doubt very much that almost all the people of clear skin in Mexico can pass for white, while only some do it in Paraguay.

Yeah, Brazil is heavily blackwashed outside Brazil. Many Brazilians are surprised when they discover people think everyone here is Black or Mulatto when travelling abroad. It's not uncommon to Brazilians who look normal here to be called ''non-Brazilian'' looking by people in Europe or North America because they look white or predominantly European.

Si incluis a los castizos que pueden pasar en algún lugar de Europa (incluyendo Chipre, Sicilia, Malta, etc.), estoy de acuerdo.
De no ser así, los dos primeros creo que están muy arriba.

OP I have a personal question for you.
Considering that you classify yourself as black, do you consider the Griffes and mulatos pred. Negroid as black as well?
Because I have noticed that still many people in these forums practice the one-drop rule.
When a pred Caucasoid person phenotypicall shows visible non White admixture they are considered "mixed", but when a pred. negroid person shows visible non negroid admixture they are still considered just "Black".

You're right but Paraguay also has a large Menonnite community, comparable in population to Mexico's and has a fast growing community of Paraguayans of Argentine/Southern Brazilian descent.

I agree that Mexico should be higher though, in the 1st category.

The one drop rule is more of a "pick and choose" type of thing. If one can pass as white and wants to be considered such, not too many people will care if you're say....8% SSA or not. Some people choose to be "black" for political or social reasons though.

I'm part Creole. My dad looks similar to actor, Vin Diesel, but with a Mustache and he was actually mistaken for a local in your country(Costa Rica) as well as Puerto Rico. Creoles have traditionally been considered "black", regardless of their phenotype in the U.S. though. They're politically "black" I guess, even though some Creoles I know scored more Euro than SSA(including an cousin of mines who looks "Latina".)

Personally. I consider those over 55% or more SSA to be "black" though phenotypically anything is possible.

So, some changes that I would make so far:

    1. Mexico should be over 14% White in the 1st category.

    2. Brazil's white % should be raised by at least 5% in the 1st 2 categories.
