What is your favourite romanic language?

I think French is the most beautiful but I guess I like Italian the best since I like Italians.

To pick a favourite is difficult. I've been leaving this open for a while because it's a hard picking. I like all of them to be honest. They're all with their own peculiarities making them interesting. Today I'd say Romanian, tomorrow I'd say French and next week I'd say Spanish. One year ago I'd say Italian. Heck even Portuguese is interesting for its archaic grammar and interesting phonology.

I know French the best out of them all and flirted the most with Spanish as my secondary Romance language, but no way at a satisfactory level that one.

French, the most Germanic of the major Romance languages, but not for that reason of course.

French and Italian will be my ultimate pick due to the rich history attached to them spanning a long period I like. From Middle Ages to Modernity managed to stay somewhat relevant (Italian less so, but the Renaissance started in North Italy). But heck, Romanian, the forgotten one is also a favourite. It's not the prestige one should look at alone.

Unlike English speakers, French speakers will let you know you butcher their language.
