Maybe...boys are making sensible choices and training in useful professions such as carpentry or plumbing where they can earn a much better living than they would if they complete a sports management degree at the New University of Purchasable Degrees and end up serving coffee in Costa for the minimum wage.

Typical jobs for non-graduates females such as nursery care or care work really are low paid whereas typical jobs for non-graduate males can be quite well-paid even more so than jobs taken by graduates (male and female).
