My brain works different. I can see someone and think they are physically attractive, but not be into them.

I can do the exact same thing. That’s how i can rate women. I don’t think I do it for the same reasons, though. For me, I simply judge the person on a purely aesthetic level. But sometimes, if the guy is my type, I will rate him with a caveat (he is an 8 to me, for example).

It’s like some kind of dissociative quality I have. I remember once talking to a friend and he posted a picture online of him with his surfing suit thing pulled down to his waist. He’s very fit and attractive. I remember my mind going blank at this picture, then feeling ashamed to look at it, so I told him this because I felt guilty for feeling that way towards him, but I didn’t know why I felt like that.

He mentioned that I probably actively discourage sexuality and prize looking at someone for who they are, instead of what they look like, and it’s weird to experience lust.

So, having said that, I think Momoa is a handsome man, but he’s not my type, and I didn’t experience a lusty moment looking at him lol.

I relate to this completely.
It is possible to appreciate someone for their physical appearance and yet not be sexually attracted to them.
I feel that way toward Channing Tatum. Lol
