Is it OWD to find Germanic languages more interesting than the Romance languages?

I just find the Germanic languages more interesting. I also think they suit my personality more. I’m just not a flowery and romantic type of person. Does this make me OWD?

I agree with you, being B2 in French and C2 in Norwegian, and decent in German, I think german is not only easier to express oneself more accurately, but also feels more natural due to it's very intuitive structure (ofc I am probably biased because norwegian obviously is a germanic Language).

How can liking a language make you OWD? Even those who you named are European, so it doesn't make sense from all angles.

I choose to not believe that some ppl can be so insecure as to even doubt that preferring another language family ocer another makes one "owd" or have some sort of racial heirarchy of some sort..

Why do you stereotype Romance languages as romantic and flowery? The name has nothing to do with romance - it is derived from the Roman Empire! Also Germanic languages can sound flowery and romantic and there is a lot of Medieval German romantic poetry:

Ignorance of North/Latin Americans about who is flowery in Europe and who isn't is so annoying. For everyone who wants to register on this forum there should be a test of knowledge about Europe, with questions about every country in Europe, and they should be allowed to register only if they pass the test.

I prefer Slavic languages to Romance languages even. Looser word order leaves many more possibilities of expression. But I can say I have a better understanding of Romance languages still.

No it's not OWD at all. OWD is a stupid term anyway.

Honestly, you're already looking at a rather cultured and learned user-base on this site, so I don't think such a test is actually neccesary, considdering the post quality around here.
