Just like anyone else. The tone of your skin doesn't make you any less of a Turk. It's about what's inside that matters.

Minorities in Turkey such as Kurds, Arabs and gypsies stick out easily. Ethnic Turks aren't that dark lol.

But ethnic Turks are darker than all Europeans (on average), even if less than they are often stereotyped to be.

Not a fair comparison since Turks are much more diverse than any European and Asian ethnicity.

OK, but even compared to Portuguese, Greeks and Maltese, I'd still say ethnic Turks are at least a little darker on average, and the facial features differ too.

There are lots of Greek looking, Iberian looking Turks. There are also Scandinavian looking, Central European looking, MENA looking, Central Asian looking and even South and East Asian looking Turks. Taking their averages by intuition might not give the correct result.

Depends on what you define as brown.

most turks have skin type 3, then 2 and then 4.

Yes I know Turks are very diverse, but when we consider types like Erdogan or the CEO of Turkish Airlines, they don't really look European to me. (Even in the 'swarthiest Southern European' sense).
