    Simple but effective, seems to model different parts of Europe well.

    Component references

    East Mediterranean = Cypriot
    West Mediterranean = Sardinian
    North Sea = Dutch
    Atlantic = Basque
    Baltic = Latvian
    Siberian = Nganasan
    North Africa = Tunisian
    Sub-Sahara = Yoruba

    My result (default penalty)

    Fit - 1.2243

    North Sea - 95.83%
    Atlantic - 4.17%

    In terms of this calculator, yes. British are more genetically Western (WHG) than Dutch and that is expressed in this calculator by the Basques, the most genetically Western people in Europe.

    Balts have the most WHG. You're a celticized Bell Beaker hence the Basque from maritime Bell Beakers and probably your ydna too.

    Balts have the most WHG-like ancestry, but they have very little actual WHG. Basques would have the most of that.

    I am nearly entirely Bell Beaker with some Southern pull since the Bronze Age and Basques are both Western and Southern. My y-dna has nothing to do with Basques, it's direct from the Steppe.
