Ronald Ernest "Ron" Paul (Pittsburgh, August 20, 1935) is an American physician and politician, a former member of the House of Representatives of the United States Congress. Ron Paul was a candidate for the presidency of the United States in 1988, 2008 and 2012.
Ron Paul is the father of Senator Rand Paul, makes Kentucky state, the leaders of the conservative Tea Party movement.
In Congress, Ron Paul has adhered to libertarian principles, basing himself on his payment policies, often without constitutionalism and state rights. He never voted in favor of the increase of capital or the increase of salary of the congressmen and refuses to participate of the pension system of the Congress. He earned the nickname "Dr. No" (Dr. No) please vote for that he thinks is in violation of the United States Constitution.
Ron Paul supports the collection of state spending and taxes. As a congressman, he suggested the abolition of income tax and the progressive system of it. It can also be converted into a United States health care system in a free-market system more often and therefore opposes the universal health care system. Ron is pro-life, however, out of the federal reason for abortion, for advocating that every state has its say on a subject, and opposes any control over education at the federal level, relegating its responsibility to the states as well. He was awarded in 2012 with the Nobel Prize of Conservatism, the Barry Goldwater Award. In 2016, Paul voted one vote at the polling station, which had been made for Donald Trump.
